We will continue to provide updates on the measures our affiliate is taking.

ReStore Locations

Both ReStore locations will reopen on Friday, May 1st to shoppers. Donations and pick ups will continue to be suspended through at least Friday, May 15th.

Homeownership Program & Home Dedications

At this time, our homeownership program continues to partner with local families and individuals to help make their homeownership dreams a reality. Home dedications will have a change in program. Stay tuned for more information.

To our Homeowners and Homeowner Candidates: Habitat Homeowners and Homeowner Candidates with questions regarding mortgages or the homeownership program can call the Homeowner Hotline at (727) 209-2196. Please leave a detailed message and we will get back with you within 24 hours.

Please also be on the lookout for emails from us and check your spam to make sure you aren’t missing something important.

Volunteer Opportunities

All volunteer groups will be canceled/rescheduled through Friday, May 15th. At that time, we will re-evaluate the situation and determine if the time is appropriate to reopen the sites and events.

If you have made a group reservation to volunteer in this time frame, we would like to discuss re-booking your group for a future build day. If you are volunteering as a single volunteer or with a smaller group, we are happy to do the same.

Many of our hardworking homeowner candidates perform jobs right at the forefront of this crisis, including health care workers, teachers, service sector employees—those to whom if they missed a paycheck could mean catastrophe. If you made plans to volunteer or support Habitat for Humanity in the next few weeks or months, please consider supporting our mission through an online donation today! Click here to learn more.

For any volunteer related questions, please contact Jack Shanks, VP of Homeowner and Volunteer Programs at jshanks@habitatpwp.org.

Blueprint Gala: Wanderlust Canceled

In an effort to protect our staff, sponsors, volunteers and attendees, Habitat Pinellas and West Pasco has canceled the Blueprint Gala: Wanderlust event which was set for Saturday, April 4th, 2020 at the Vinoy. The 2021 event has been confirmed for Saturday, April 17th, 2021 at the same venue.

The impact of cancelling our annual premier fundraising event is tremendous for our organization. Since its inception, the funds raised from the Blueprint Gala have supported the seemingly unreachable homeownership dreams for over 20 families who were in need of a safe and affordable place to call “home”. The decision was not taken lightly and unfortunately will negatively impact our budget.

Sponsors and ticket holders have been contacted directly by Mike Sutton, President and CEO. For more information, please contact Natalie Melillo at nmelillo@habitatpwp.org.
