The construction team is the face of Habitat for Humanity, and who our volunteers and homeowners get to know the best while working on our job sites and through the homeownership program. As we welcome our volunteers and homeowner candidates back on-site in full capacity, we’d like to take an opportunity to introduce and highlight all of the essential members of our team, who take building a home from a dream to a reality. Read below to meet those you will work with on the build sites:

Name:

My name is Todd Cochran.

Tell us a little about yourself and your responsibilities.

I moved to Florida 3 years ago from Maryland, and I currently live in Palm Harbor with my wife and two sons. Fishing with my sons and going to the beach are the things I enjoy most during my free time. Two and a half years ago I started working for Habitat as a Restore truck driver. For the last couple of months, I have been working for the construction warehouse in which I deliver tools, appliances, supplies, etc. to the homesites while also performing some jobs at the warehouse.

How long have you been in your position?

2 months in my current position, but over two years at the affiliate.

What is your proudest moment during your time at Habitat?

It is always rewarding to go to a dedication. These are the moments that make you most proud to be part of an organization that does so much for the community.

Complete this sentence: Home is where…

You make memories!

I am thrilled to see that Todd Cochran is working for Habitat for Humanity! I worked for Todd in a business in Delaware, just before he relocated to Florida, and he is a good, honest man. It doesn’t surprise me at all to see him working for such a wonderful, community-building organization!
