For the month of May, Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas & West Pasco Counties will receive a $1 donation from each purchase of the $2.50 reusable Community Bag at the stores located at Winn-Dixie 11100 4th Street North, St. Petersburg FL and Winn-Dixie 10202 Seminole Boulevard, Largo FL.

The Community Bag Program, which launched in February 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.

When a shopper purchases the $2.50 reusable Community Bag at any Winn-Dixie store, they have the opportunity to direct a $1 donation to a local non- profit by using the attached Giving Tag. Habitat Pinellas and West Pasco has already begun generating donations through the use of the program. When purchasing a bag, shoppers can simply follow the instructions on the back of the Giving Tag to select the non-profit they would like to support!

All proceeds from Winn-Dixie will go back into helping our community, by providing safe and affordable homes in our community.
