Clearwater, FL – Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties will celebrate the holiday season by breaking ground on Longlake Preserve, a new 54-townhome development located at 1756 S Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Clearwater, FL 33756.

This special groundbreaking will occur on Wednesday, December 20th, at 9:00 a.m. The event will feature speeches from distinguished guests, including State Senator Ed Hooper and State Representative Kim Berfield.

Habitat is partnering with St. Petersburg-based firm G2 Design for this project.

“G2 Design is thrilled to collaborate as the architectural partner for Longlake Preserve,” expressed Johanna Glinsboeckel, Principle of G2 Design. “Our vision was to harmoniously blend cost-effective design and modern living. We’ve focused on fostering community while ensuring that lifestyle and affordability are not just maintained, but enhanced, which is pivotal for the success of this development.”

The townhomes at Longlake Preserve will be purchased by future Habitat homeowners who have completed the Habitat homeownership program. The program includes 36+ homebuyer education courses on topics including financial literacy and how to be a good neighbor.
