Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties is proud to announce and welcome a new staffing addition: Pamela Lee as Chief Financial Officer.
Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties has completed 61 new homes this year, and recently was recognized as the second largest Habitat affiliate in the country based on new home builds out of the 1,049 affiliate network. The Charity Navigator 4-Star rated organization has seen significant growth over the past five years, growing to a staff of 65 employees and expanding into Pasco County after a merger with the West Pasco affiliate in March of 2019.
“The addition of the Chief Financial Officer role will support our organization as we focus on serving more families in our region in the years to come,” says Mike Sutton, President and CEO. “Pamela’s background and track record will bring a new dynamic to our team and compliment the significant growth of this organization over the last five years”.
Pamela will serve on Habitat Pinellas and West Pasco’s Executive Team in her new role. She joins the affiliate from FASTer Way to Fat Loss, one of the fastest growing companies as ranked by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, where she served as the Director of Finance & Administration. In her role, she developed tools to track key metrics, budgeting and forecasting financial results, led conversion of cash to accrual accounting and implementation of financial software across all company platforms, while also overseeing HR in a company that grew from 5 to 30 over the last two years.
Pamela has also worked in the nonprofit sector for the Illinois State Dental Society and as an accountant for a public accounting firm. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Fraud Examiner, and received her bachelors and master’s degrees from the University of Illinois. In her free time, she participates in Triathlons and enjoys reading and cooking.
Welcome to the team, Pamela!
