Karter just started his first day of Kindergarten and he is today’s Habitat Back-to-School Spotlight!

This eager 4-year-old was so excited to begin his time at school. His mother, Habitat homeowner Breanna, tells us that “Karter is geared up for his adventure through science and becoming a big boy as a kindergartner.” We are so happy to hear that Karter is so eager to learn new things in school. He really enjoys learning about science and when he grows up he wants to be “a rock star and a football player”. This year, Karter’s kindergarten goal is “to learn while making good choices”. We are confident that he will do just that!

For Breanna and Karter, education is important because “The power of an education is limitless. Gaining and maintaining and education is important to help carry one through life and expand ones powers”.

A good education could not be possible without a safe and stable home environment to do homework and spend time with family. Our Habitat for Humanity affiliate offers affordable housing to families in the Pinellas and West Pasco County area. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a Habitat homeowner, please check out our Apply Page on our website for more information.

“Home is where family seeds are planted and possibilities are limitless.”
