Habitat ReStore is a non-profit retail center where new and gently used building materials and home furnishings are sold at discounted prices. Often people want to donate these things for use in our Habitat homes. However, it is not practical, efficient or economical to try to adjust plans to accommodate most donated materials. The ReStore is our solution for turning these donations, from generous and environmentally concerned individuals and businesses, into money to build homes for families.
Basic Donation Guidelines
All donations are accepted at staff discretion. Here are our considerations
Must be intended for use in or have application in residential construction, improvement or maintenance. Nothing labeled or specifically configured for industrial, professional or commercial use only.
Must be structurally sound to perform its intended use. Nothing broken, missing, worn-out or otherwise “falling apart.”
Must be in working condition. No disabling damage, nonfunctioning components or in any way inoperable.
Must have an acceptable appearance.
How To Donate
Due to COVID-19, donations are being accepted starting 7/1/2020 via pick-up only. Drop off donations are not being accepted.
To protect donors and our team, ReStore staff will not enter a home. Items need to be in the garage, on the porch or carport.
We are unable to haul away trash, and some donations may be declined because of safety concerns, facility limitations or marketability.
