Thank you the the members of Suncoast NPI for supporting homeownership dreams for families like the Davis’!
Alisha, a single mom of two daughters, will soon become a homeowner in New Port Richey. She is a nationally certified medical assistant and an accomplished student currently working towards her bachelor’s degree in social work at Saint Leo University. For the past six years, the Davis’ have been living in a cramped home infested with ants and plumbing issues. Before moving here, she was homeless.
Receiving the news that her family was accepted into the Habitat for Humanity program was just the glimmer of hope that she needed. “When I found out I was accepted into the Habitat program I was very excited. All I could think about is this is the part of a new beginning that is very much needed for myself and children.”
